Just seen this on the Bass Direct webpage.
Oh my word, I WANT ONE!!!

Always had a secret yearning for a yellow bass and this one is lovely, never tried a Sandberg, have only heard good things about them but if i tried one of these in a shop i'd be worried that people would think i'd have to play like Jaco or Marlowe!!
My piggy bank will be colliding with a hammer later today.[attachment=137668:BSFront590.jpg]

I love that colour. I've been looking at that Sandberg for a while on the Bass Direct website and it looks better every time!

I have a yellow Guild Pilot (for sale as it happens) and it looks great in that colour.

P.S. If you buy the Sandberg don't forget to post some pics.

Woah back dazza - take the trip up there and try it first. I was all GAS over the cream and torty Sandberg Jazz-clone (TT4 to be precise) but ended up with a VM 4 (P+MM configuration) - I just didn't think the sound of the J-type was that special. YMMV but defo try it first!

I had a Sandberg JJ and it was brilliant... BUT it was soooo damn heavy it was hurting after 20 mins on the strap.

So definitely try it out first.

If they got the weight down I'd have another in an instant.
