Always had a secret yearning for a yellow bass and this one is lovely, never tried a Sandberg, have only heard good things about them but if i tried one of these in a shop i'd be worried that people would think i'd have to play like Jaco or Marlowe!! I was all GAS over the cream and torty Sandberg Jazz-clone (TT4 to be precise) but ended up with a VM 4 (P+MM configuration) - I just didn't think the sound of the J-type was that special. fretmeister Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I had a Sandberg JJ and it was brilliant... BUT it was soooo damn heavy it was hurting after 20 mins on the strap. So definitely try it out first. If they got the weight down I'd have another in an instant. Quote
