Chiliwailer
I've never seen a two tone bass before, the blue front and gold back is very cool. I absolutely love how adventurous Fender are these days, the Japs have shown the Yanks a thing or two about creativity and exploring an amazing history and inventory of basses over the years.I'm glad Fender USA and Mexico is getting on to it. davebass66
Sorry to be a party pooper but I'm pretty sure the pics underneath are mixed up!... There is a blue one and a gold one... Or am I missing something?!
AndyBob09
It's not two tone. You can get it in gold or blue. The gold is fugly though.
Twigman
The all black one is pretty cool though http://www.fenderjapan.co.jp/jb62_allblk.html
MacDaddy
I prefer the non export Aero's. YMMV

Oversoul
It's not two tone, the pictures up on that website are kind of mixed up...the page is rather poor, gladly, the basses are not. USA could "steal" some cool ideas from them, I'd like to see more Geddy Lee quality Fenders for under 1000€
LeftyJ
I agree, they should export! It's a pity Fender Japan is making all those lovely non-export lefty instruments that Fender USA won't I got my MIJ '75 Jazz reissue (with a maple board, something Fender USA won't offer lefties) used on eBay and it's just an awesome instrument. DorsetBlue
I read the 'importing' sticky thread a while ago, is importing from Japan now a no-no (i.e. dealers people used to use are not available anymore)?
dannybuoy
I like the look of the 5-string Jazz with narrow 42mm nut width: http://www.fenderjapan.co.jp/ajb-v.html

Jazzneck
I still reckon their VSP and Limited edition offerings are much better than the US Custom Shop jobbies ......................and they're cheaper, too.
