geofio Posted June 28, 2013 Author Share Posted June 28, 2013 Hi Karl, these basses sound fantastic, the preamp is very powerful, , tons of bass too much to be honest!!! 2x9v batteries on the rear, fit and finnish second to none. its all here. weight it's no light weight a good ten pounds and more. would not be selling but been offered a lovely bass. so something has to go. geofio Posted July 8, 2013 Author Share Posted July 8, 2013 dont be put off by the bass being made in mexico!!! quality is stunning as is the new preamp, lots of tone and versatility with this bass, had a local player from glasgow up to buy another piece of equipment , he had a go and was really impressed with the marcus. i think the mexico thing, is in the past, as good as any jap/usa bass.
