Fender P Anodised Pickguard + Chrome Covers: SOLD
£50

Recommended Posts

This is a 50's re-issue guard. It didn't specify any particular country of origin when I still had the Fender packaging. In fact I have a catalogue featuring the American Vintage series and there is no cut out for truss rod on any Precision.

Of course it's for MIJ (no cutout for truss rod). Just made this mistake recently ;) .... need MIA

They're not supposed to have the cut out for the truss rod bump

These are from reissues; Classic 50's, '57 RI and '58RI, and none of these have the cut out because they all have the vintage style truss rod adjuster, i.e. the neck has to come off.

AFAIK no MIJ reissues have gold pickguards and I believe these are all USA made regardless of what bass they came on.

Hope this helps.
