I had a key change in last months entry, well ,I say key change , when I thought that a harmonica would be good in it , I found my dusty example in the cupboard and I had to start again and change the key of what I had already done

Changing keys is a bit X factor for me. Why do they always notch it up at the end. It does my head in.

I seem to have been bitten by the composition bug. I can't wait until August, so I've done another one anyway...

Rob and I are getting there with our collaboration this month... Still got work to do on it, but should have it finished in time.

PS: I've still yet to listen to anyone's entries... but there's lots of them, which is great to see. I'll listen to each track and post feedback once the voting starts.

How about the actual closing date is the 24th, but we tell everyone the 23rd so that everyone gets them in on the 24th?

I hadn't noticed before, but Bilbo's math is correct. If voting starts on 24th that leaves 8 days voting (including the day of the 24th).

But heh I'm playing for time, so I'll take any extra days I can get

What is the thinking behind this?
Why is the competition not open for entries all month & have the voting take place the first week of the following month?

Because if you do that when then the winner cant pick the photo until a week into the next month.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the photo picking thing. Duh.

I'm out unfortunately, I've been working on putting bass to some potential band demos so I'm in a big riffy post-metal frame of mind, which doesn't fit the picture and is pretty much what I did last month.
