witterth Posted July 2, 2013 Share Posted July 2, 2013 (edited) I've been a big fan of Mike since I was 14 ( That's some years ago) I Played some of his material at the first gig I ever did (imagine a 15 year old doing "Talking Blackpool blues"? not really the done thing looking back, too young for that) the man is one of our most underrated musicians/comedians/presenters/broadcasters. I think after so many years at the Beeb after TV and radio, they have completely shafted him, by "letting him go" I hope in many years to come they don't eulogise about him in a fond way after sacking him 'cos I'd be the first to say "up yours BBC" ( well a more sweary version) Edited July 2, 2013 by witterth Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
