Clarky72 Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 If you can magically make it right-handed I'll take it!

whynot Posted December 5, 2013 Author Posted December 5, 2013 Bump for my Spector. Started gigging it again since the Opening Post but a recent new bass order means I need to start moving some things on. Extremely lightweight. Does the MM tone very well. Pull the V knob and this splits the coils for a great slap tone. In excellent condition with no marks.
lefty68 Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Arrggg!! again!! WHYNO Trade !!? ,very tempting!! but not enough cash for this beauty!!
steve-soar Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 That's so nice. Love the colour, the simplicity, the price but alas, no disposable, what kind of trades are you looking for? So then, what are you getting next?
mudmover Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 How does this bass compare to the musicman sterling you recently sold.......?
whynot Posted December 6, 2013 Author Posted December 6, 2013 Hi Guys, Only selling to help fund another bass so trading wouldn't really help me. Would rather keep otherwise. No denying it is different to the Sterling but with some careful eq you can get a similar tone. Whether the EMG + materials + construction, to me it sounds brighter and clearer than the Sterling but still retains a punch and thickness. Steve, going for an Overwater Perception 5.
Dread Bass Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 I love this bass. Alas i have no use for any more four strings but best of luck.
whynot Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013
I love this bass. whynot Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 So ended up being my main gigging bass again for most of Dec and Jan but still available for sale.
whynot Posted March 8, 2014 Author Posted March 8, 2014 Traded my Jazz 5 for another 4 string and after last nights gig I'm happy, so as per current policy of one in/one out...... I've taken some daylight pictures earlier today (posted back up in thread) to give a better indication of body colour. Has the Spector curved body, lightweight, punchy, great action, neck solid with zero issues, not a mark on it. Controls are Volume/bass/treble. Pull the V knob to split coils. Just paid the balance on my Overwater which will be here shortly so looking for a quick sale now. Thanks for looking.
stuart Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 love it , but just a bit to much dosh, does it come with a case ?
whynot Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 No case I'm afraid as I purchased without. I can include a well used Ritter gig bag.
DogHammer Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Definitely not interested in trades? I have a 2011 US Fender Jazz std that I am going to throw up on the forum soon.

Still like to try a Sandberg VM4.

Hard to get hold of one for a trial in lefty though.

whynot Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 The Bacchus is not for me but thanks for the offer.
