Dom in Dorset
It's time to get a better 12 string, I've been using a Stagg, I set it up nicely but the sound is a little "cheap". I'm on a budget so the Villager seems to be a good option at £300 http://www.fender.com/en-GB/series/california/villager-12-string-cutaway-electric-solid-spruce-top-mahogany-back-and-sides-fishman-preamp-with-built-in-tuner Anyone tried one? canarybass
Anyone tried one?
I've not tried one, but it looks fantastic - I love those hockey stick headstocks you get on Fender 12 strings!
JimBobTTD
I had a different Fender 12 string which was rather poorly built. I think that there is a reason that Fender are the top dog when it comes to electric guitars and basses but hardly see a look-in when it comes to acoustics. skankdelvar
those hockey stick headstocks you get on Fender 12 strings!
Also known as 'Smurf Hat' headstocks over the pond, apparently. In any event, I like them too. Another reason why I am gas-ing for an Electric XII. Roll on the Squier re-issue. Mykesbass
I'd check out some of the lesser name brands like Cort and Aria before making a decision.
