Well he does say the electrics may need attention....I have a fretless one which doesn't come with built in distortion strangely!

If this is kosher then I would be interested, though it is the fretless I really want. I had a 3a fretless in the early 80s and really liked it. One of those I should not have sold. Dont feel comfortable about this one though, the pricing doesnt seem right, and the seller has no history, also not sure if the pictures are of the one for sale, the text seems to hint not. I have had an ebay notification for westone thunder for at least 6 months now and only recall seeing one 3 come up in that time. Didnt detect this one because of mispelling in title. I had forgotten how heavy they were, didnt used to bother me but might be different now!

The 10-15db boost those have can distort most things.

Having just come from the M D Phillips thread, I must admit that when I saw "Westone Thunder 3" I briefly wondered if it was a Westone Thunder 4 that had been visited by the master.

why show it in a case ect then say 1 and 2,
if below 1 was true why not show just a pic of the bass,

1) "the pics are the same model as mine"

2) "email me if you want more pics its just pics from a phone it dos'nt do it justice"
