abc Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 (edited)
As the way things go, I might have to move this lovely bass on. I bought this very recently and it hasn't been gigged at all. It is a 34" scale 5 string with a Russian walnut body (and pup covers) with a birdseye maple fingerboard. It has the best 'B' I've heard on a bass - nice, punchy and an even playability across all the strings. Vast tonal palette and very easy to 'dial' a tone to suit. The bass comes with a hardcase, tool and manual. Looking for offers close to £1995 - they are £2954 currently. Details on the bass can be found here: http://www.marleaux-..._signature.html There is a review of the Marleaux MBass here: http://www.marleaux-..._mBass-Test.pdf
The M is a fantastic design. (my favourite neck through) I distinctly remember the first time I played one- one of the very few basses I can say that for. In the case of the M this was memorable for all the right reasons. Good luck with the sale! Edited July 7, 2013 by abc
MM Stingray 62 Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Did you get this bass from Promenade music. I think I had a play of it last year.
