Stu65
I bought this US made Fender Jazz bass from a private seller but when I started researching them online I noticed mine was different in several ways to the ones I was looking at. The machine heads looked different, the truss rod adjustment hole was in the wrong place and lastly the strings don't go through the body on mine like they do on others. The serial number checks out as a 2003 US guitar I know Fender are often changing things on their guitars but just want to confirm this is the real deal and not a disguised Mexican model or something else entirely. Edited July 8, 2013 by Stu65
ikay
Looks like a Highway One to me. Made in the US but a cheaper model than the US Standard - no through-body stringing, satin nitro finish, truss rod at headstock end, different tuners. miles'tone
It's a USA Highway One Jazz. You way well find a Badass II bridge under that cover. Don't worry, you haven't been diddled!
