The Likeness - a great tribute to The Darkness.
[/quote]

Saw them, got the impression they were an actual 80s hair band. Also 'We have an hour long set to fill and we are a tribute to a band with only one 35 minute album out, so here are some B-sides".

I am surprised no one else has heard of this one but according to radio 2 at some point there was an Irish rapper doing the rounds as Duff Paddy! quite simply the best tribute name possible

Fraud Stewart
Not King Cole
Part Garfunkel
Jamiroquite
Pink Flawed
Proxy Music
Tom Petty-theft

A few off the top of my head - but I'm sure some of them are so obvious, they must already exist.

In the dark world of Shadows appreciation groups there a number of decent names. Two local ones are the Five O'clock Shadows and Rich Clifford and the Saddoes.

You guys have me in stitches with your inventiveness. Even the most obvious ones have a sting to them that makes them quite much better than just daft. Also, the made up ones IMHO are clearly better than the existing ones.
Well done, and thanks! (I needed this after a major quarrel with the ex. I thought we were supposed to be past that!?!?)

best,

Some tribute bands just put 'Experience' after the name - 'The Sex Pistols Experience' for example.

Is there a Jimi Hendrix Experience Experience?
