I went along with Lozz, thanks again for the lift, great day out. Especially enjoyed Urb's seminar - learned a lot...

Not sure how you're going to follow this next year though....

many thanks to Colin, Nik et al and especially to Mrs Hamster for the refreshments..

Great day wasn't it? :) You really are a lovely bunch of people!

Huge thanks to SilverfoxNik, Hamster, OBBM, Happy Jack and Mrs Hamster for their work in organising the event and laying on the refreshments!! I was just stunned.

Also also thanks to Fender for their top prize but most importantly a big thanks to everyone who showed up and donated to those worthy causes. I'm looking forward to seeing the photos Sylvia.

Superb day! Great to meet the people behind the avatars, amazed to find that xilddx's avatar is in fact his passport photo! Didn't expect the pastries either.

Although I did find myself GASing after a few things, the overall effect was to reduce my GAS list by giving me the opportunity to try things I thought I wanted, and then find that I didn't after all.

Thanks to everyone who let me try out their kit, in some cases putting one BCer's a amp head through another's cab!

EDIT: spelling correction for [s]silddx[/s] [s]xilddx[/s] Nige.

3+ hours to get there, 40 minutes to get home again  Ah well.

Great day out, nice to see some familiar faces and put faces to other BC contributors.

Another well organised bash, well done and thanks to all involved.

Great day. Good to see everyone, old faces and new, and lots of great gear to ogle. :) And hey, I won a T-shirt!

Gear highlights of the day were Alex's new Barefaced cabs, the Markbass Multiamp, a Mk3 Wal and Billy Apple's raucous Matamp rig. :D

Always nice to see lots of familiar faces and to catch up and to meet some new ones too :)

Would have liked to hear Dave Swift but go caught having to look after his basses for him instead, lol.

Some nice instruments and amps around and some really cool monster cabs that reminded me that I have a bad back and need to stop looking at them!

Plus I came home with some new, super light gauge, strings courtesy of Mick, fitted them immediately and had great fun zooming around on my Sei :)

Big thanks to Gareth for minding the basses I bought along for people to have a go on!

Another excellent bash - Was that the biggest bash in BC [s]bistory[/s] history?

Big thanks to the Hamsters & Nik for putting it all together, and to Malcolm (Jazzneck) for chauffeuring me & assorted choice JapCrap around.

Here's to the next one!

Pete.

Unbelievable day. The only regret I had was missing Urb`s workshop as it over ran a bit late and I had to leave to catch a train. I was looking forward to that after watching him play in the jamming room. Maybe next year. Haven`t tried out the amp yet as I caught the wrong connecting train from Reading and ended up in Oxford instead of Gloucester, so a 3 hour journey turned into 5 so a little too late to have a go
Anyway thanks to the organisers for making a superb day, I learnt so much today from the workshops

Great Day ! Seriously, I don't know where the time went. Thanks to everyone whose gear I played, including walbassist, clarky, and Dave Swift. Great to see Fender and MarkBass in attendance, and KK Baby bass, too.

It was a great size too. If they carry on being that size, with that level of attendance by makers of instruments and amplification, that would be a hard to beat formula.

Well done to everyone involved in organising it :)
