Good stuff, and makes me realise how much more I missed than I thought I had! completely missed the bass pedals and could have had a compare and contrast with mine - though thinking about it I only brought the synth unit and keyboard of my rig and not the PK5.
Ah well, there's always next year

Thanks Rich and Al - the hardest part was selecting the photos from the hundreds I had, and lightly cropping/editing each of them as needed (no Photoshop or similar involved, though!). Once that job was done, the blog practically wrote itself.

Well done on the blog... really well put together and considering how much was going on it's great you captured virtually all of it - and I always give my talks cross-legged and making 'oooo' faces... :)

Excellent photo's thanks Silvia & thanks for sharing, you've made me feel like I really should make the effort & get to these bashes, maybe next time B)

Yes KiOgon! We want to see you all there next time! It's great fun, there is no pressure, and socialising with like-minded bass freaks is always good (:

Edit: Nige, I loved writing it - the most difficult part was deciding which photos to leave out...

For the record, here's a list of the equipment Bryn (UrbanKarma) demonstrated:

1. Sonoma Wireworks guitar jack (for iPhone, iPad)

2. Keith McMillen Soft Step floor control

3. Apple Mac Book Pro, running Main Stage

4. Markbass Multiamp Bass (there is a guitar model as well)

I'm also working on that Flickr album of extras! Keep the faith and you'll be able to spot yourselves amid tons of gear in several other photos :D
A big thank you to all who read my blog so far - yesterday I reached my highest number of clicks and reads ever.

Paul the Drums, Happy Jack and KK Baby Bass in action again at a jam last night! As per Clarky's immortal remark, the upright bass "babe-magnet" factor was in evidence - the audience actually took notice of both the bass player and the instrument! :D
