Hi guys, recently been looking into recreating synthesised bass sounds

This is really the best example of the kind of stuff I'm trying to make:

I'm just looking for some advice on what you guys think are the best pedals are for this kind of stuff, on my list at the moment:

BOSS OC-2 ( looking to buy one so hit me up if you're selling)
MOOG MOOGERFOOGER LOW PASS FILTER with expression pedal (same applies!)

Just to make it clear, I'm not looking for dirty dubstep wobbles, stuff that's a bit more subtle and really makes use of the low end
Let me know what you guys think would be useful!

Many thanks

J

It's your playground & there's no right or wrong, just what You like. So go & try some pedals.

The 2 you named are a great starting point. Add a dirt pedal so when you open the filter it has a more harmonic tone. Add some modulation such as chorus or flange to give the sound movement & thicken it up. Some reverb or delay, what ever you fancy. :)

Good call on the moog! You won't regret it. As for other effects you might want some drive or fuzz of some kind..other than that you cant go wrong with some kind of pitch shifter and don't forget modulation..chorus..flange..phase..

There is a lot to choose from but don't be put off, experiment and have fun

Yeah I'm about to buy a Wooly Mammoth Clone and I've got a B3K so hopefully they should do the trick, for pitch shifting I've got the Whammy V. Hmmmmm a modulation...any thoughts?

For modulation I use the Boss CE2 chorus & the Moog Bass Murf (also used for dirt & splitting the signal), but again, try things out.
