Guest markinthegreen Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 (edited) I would like to trade this bass for a P bass of the same era, anything pre 74' This is my 1974 (4 Bolt) Fender Jazz. This is all original, nothing has been changed, modded, finished, or messed with. Completely original state. Looks fantastic, feels great to play, loads of life left in the frets. I brought this from a dealer in Los Angeles 4 years ago, I have used it at one rehearsal and it has spent all of its time in my studio. Its got fantastic tone. The Pots are dated late 73' I have recordings of the bass on request. It was set up by Chris Ward last year. Edited October 11, 2013 by markinthegreen
Guest markinthegreen Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Im not sure, and I'm not in possession of a set of scales! It is surprisingly light compared to my other J basses. If you are interested I will go get it weighed .

Mikkel-S Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Any interest in a US Lakland 44-94? Thanks.
Guest markinthegreen Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 All I want to trade this for is a Fender P bass pre 75'ish. No other basses thanks
clarkpegasus4001 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Good luck with the sale. The bass looks just like my 74 except mine has a black scratchplate.
Clarky72 Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Gorgeous, if only you were after a white Spector we'd be talking... bump!
Guest markinthegreen Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Ha yes its quite funny, I think I have been offered just about every make of bass other than a Fender P. So just to re iterate: JUST a Fender P bass pre 1975 fretted!! Nothing else will do chaps. Cheers
Clarky72 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 If I find someone with one that will do a trade with me I'll be in touch!
Guest markinthegreen Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Does anyone have a 70's P bass? BUMP!
Thunderpaws Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 I have a G&L L2000 tribute. If you put the pickup selector on "neck" it sounds just like a 70's P bass. Honest! Straight trade? ;-/
