I'd love this type of opportunity.

I could care less about alcohol.

I'm not sure if we've been here before, but still...

'I couldn't care less about alcohol' translates to 'I have no interest in alcohol' ('It would be difficult for me to have less interest in alcohol as, by implication, I have none'...)

Therefore, in opposition, 'I could care less about alcohol' means (to me...) 'I am very interested in alcohol'.

Maybe this explains some confusion here. A strange expression, which seems to have come to mean exactly the same thing, to some, despite their being opposites. It's no wonder that World Wars flare up occasionally. :|

Someone recently said;

"I'm the least racist person you'll ever know"

Blue

It often means that they're about to utter a horrendously racist remark. :|

Well we all know who that was.

I puzzled over it as well.

What he seems to be saying is, that he is racist.....but just a little bit racist.

The "No Alcohol" thing is probably more to do with Passenger "safety" than anything else. As a member of the crew, you also have a responsibility to the passengers, even when you're off duty.

This. I said it in my slightly ranty post too.

We all probably know that there are some people that turn completely crazy when they drink.
