pantherairsoft Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I'll bring my Canon 500d and film some stuff. Tom, if your other half has a spare tripod could she bring it? Saves me bringing one along (as I'll forget!). Quote

64k Posted July 30, 2013 Author Posted July 30, 2013 Woooohooo less than two weeks to go! Lets get confirming guys! Quote
tauzero Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 What's the actual address of cheddatom's studio? Quote
cheddatom Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 The address is: HILL TOP BUSINESS CENTRE, TALKE PITTS, ST7 1PW You can find it from that post code on google, there's a map here: http://rifffactory.co.uk/recordings.html Depending on where you come from, I guess most of you would come down/up the A500, then take the A34 towards Congleton. It's a straight road until you get to a big crossroads with traffic lights. The A34 continues on to Congleton on the right, but you want to go left. It takes you up a hill, and when you're almost at the top of the hill (maybe half a mile from the cross roads) the business centre is on your left. It's a very tight turn to get in. Once you've turned in you go up a ramp, through some big blue gates, drive to the right hand side of the big main building and there's a smaller separate building - that's me. Anyway, I'll try and put some signs up or something to make it obvious. Quote
seashell Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Not long to go now. Any more takers? Or any 'possibles' turned into 'definites'? I'll probably just be bringing my Ibanez now as the Fender is in for a set up. Quote
cheddatom Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 I've invited all the local bassist I know, as it looks like there'll be plenty of room. I think 2 or 3 (who aren't on BC) may join us Quote
pantherairsoft Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Looking forward to it. MIM have added it their events list, I spoke with Jarman today and they can't wait. I can't wait to try his IR MIDI Bass! Quote
Bassman Sam Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Shep, are you bringing your Bareface Big Twin? I'd love to hear one of these. Quote
pantherairsoft Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 I don't think it'll fit in the car dude. MIM are swinging by mine on the way, with the 3 of us plus basses etc. It's unlikely. If there is space then yes, I'll bring it along. Quote
Bassman Sam Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 I'm going to have to pull out. My old Mum has had a bad fall today and has broken her nose. I off to Lincoln to visit her. Have a great day guys. Quote
Ian Savage Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 I'm out I'm afraid, got me little 'un! Quote
tayste_2000 Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 (edited) Quick question as my lift seems to have let me down, I've got this showing as about 2 miles from Kidsgrove train station does that seem about right? Thinking I'll just train and taxi it around, it will mean I won't have the B-15 though, but can do a good few other toys Edited August 10, 2013 by tayste_2000 Quote
cheddatom Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Just in case anyone gets lost, my number is 07967 088 317 Quote
