pierreganseman
hi guys here is my latest overwater. Specs : ash body poplar top full wengé neck 3 band eq 33 inch tuning B to G Attention to detail is absolutely stunning. Working with overwater is a pleasure, although i do recommend calling them straight, which has been a bit hard with me as I live in Germany. Yes they are not too good with emails...... it's the 1st ever 33 inch jazz with a low B they have ever done. It's basically a whole new model with a downsized jazz body etc. just have a look. cheers Edited July 12, 2013 by pierreganseman

AndroWal
Looks great! Beautiful. I have a J5 24 in the works with Martin at this time. We have discussed having the angled headstock...... There's been posts about the idea that angled headstocks make the strings feel stiffer...not as flexible....what is your experience with your Overwater J with the angled headstock? Thanks! BassTractor
yes its possible with a 33 inch
Nonsense! It can't be done. Look, a low B is 61.7354 Hz - give or take in equal temperament, and thus disregarding some Pythagorean overtone stuff. Divided by two, this gives a neck length of 30.867 inch. Your neck is 33 inch, a factor 1.069 too long, giving you a slightly uptuned low C. One can't beat physics, see. etc. etc. etc. best, bert PS Sigh. Yes, I know ...
