paddy109
Hi has anyone used these strings? Could you tell me what's good and bad about them and whether they would bow (there is only one song in our set list that is bowed). I am looking for a string to pluck, slap and bow. Anyone got a set hanging around? I played 3 gigs this w'end on Obligatos and my fingers fancy trying something with less tension! Paddy. Rabbie
I currently use the A and E and really love them for all of your purposes (but I do hardly any bowing). Don't know about the D and G. Edited July 16, 2013 by Rabbie

Rabbie
May I add, the setup calls for high action and stamina if you you want to be heard acoustically. Even with the amp, the tone is in the fingers of course. If you prefer low action I wouldn't bother: too floppy.
paddy109
Thank you - would prefer lower action so perhaps my choice string.
