I can't quite make out the headstock but the American Vintage ones have plastic knobs as opposed to the chrome VMJ ones and this ebay one appears to have something written on the pickups (ie. Duncan Designed) = Squier VMJ. Plus - if you bought a new one, it wouldn't have all that writing on it!! Edited June 9, 2008 by john_the_bass Quote

I just can't help think that he is being delibrately misleading because of the photos that he chose. They are seem to make the headstock tricky to view at first glance. I hope that I am wrong.
