Musky
For those of you who aren't going to be at work, Andy Fraser is going to be on TV in about 20 minutes. I didn't realise he was still doing music so I'll be recording it.
Musky
...and they've just said it's going to be after 9:00am now. Wish they'd make their minds up.
seashell
Missed it. Did he play or was it an interview?
Roland Rock
I tuned in at 8.55 and only caught the end. It was an interview, and he was plugging an act on his record label, as well as his own new album. Unfortunately I missed any interesting stuff :-(
Badass
Just caught it on the iPlayer. Some old footage and some new stuff played with a guy called Tobi, and also footage of his daughter as a mermaid ! Very interesting and good to see him still doing it after all his problems. merello
Saw it. He looked very young for his age and slightly punch drunk. He caught AIDS and the releted Kaposi's Syndrome cancer but 'I beat them'. Good luck to him.
lowregisterhead
A wonderfully original, inventive, expressive bass player. The live version of 'Mr Big' is number 1 on my list of best bass solos of all time...
iceonaboy
Huge respect for Andy Fraser. His playing on All right now was amazing. Try to hit the high notes and have the A still going . Mr Big total class solo . What a legend!
seashell
I've always been a huge fan, long before I ever dreamed of playing bass myself.

Continuing the rhythm on the low A is essential!

[/quote] Well I went to the Bolton gig and it was fantastic! I saw Free in 1973 at Manchester University and it remains, to this day, the best gig I ever saw. Had a chance to speak to Andy after the show and he is such a nice person. Absolute genuine guy. No ego at all. Just a brilliant night
