gypsyjazzer Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Has anyone tried 'Innovation' strings' on their Eminence EUB? Regarding 'Innovation' strings---being a braided-core & nylon string- do they hold their tuning well? Your views welcome. Quote
franzbassist Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I don't have an Eminence, but I do have a BSX Allegro, so a similar kind of EUB. I put a set of Silver Slaps on it when I bought it in November 2010. The same strings are still on it now, and I have had no problems whatsoever keeping it in tune. In fact, the strings are so stable I hardly ever have to tune it! Cheers Gareth Quote
PTB Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I can also confirm my Slaps hold their tuning well and last a long time. Quote
TheRev Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) I have Super Silvers on my Eminence. They took less than a week to settle down - much quicker than the Velvet Garbos I had on previously. I really like the Super Silver G on this bass - everything else I've tried sounds too nasal. Edited July 18, 2013 by TheRev Quote
gypsyjazzer Posted July 23, 2013 Author Posted July 23, 2013 Will give them a try. Thanks for the replies. Quote
