vmaxblues
Hi guys, This is one of the American made Peavey Fury's not to be mistaken for the cheapy Milleniums etc.. this is a very different animal. This is a 90's version and is very solidly constructed and has a super slim fast neck which is an absolute joy to play. These necks were made in two pieces and are split down the middle which is very rare manufacturing process, but this process gave the necks great stability, hence the narrow jazz like neck on a precision style instrument. These are massively underrated and get confused with all the cheaper instruments, this is a quality US made instrument and a very giggable tool. Yours for £150 plus postage of £
Paul S
Gosh. I have one of these and it is *incredibly* good - proper USA made bass, not a starter or mid range job. Lightweight - under 8.5lbs. It sounds full and dark, like a slightly hotter P-Bass, but the tone control allows for the full spectrum from deep thump to really quite aggressive, as per a P bass - I've used it a couple of times with my rock band and it really cuts through nicely rolled off to half. The neck is one of the finest I have played - more like the fabled Geddy Lee/Jaguar/Precision Lyte necks than anything else. I was looking for ages - these very rarely come up and for the money this is a *complete and utter* bargain. Knocks spots off the newer Squiers for considerably less money. If someone doesn't hurry up I might have a think about getting this one, too!!

vmaxblues
Cheers Paul, brilliant synopsis, absolutely bang on, and it has a 36mm nut width, and having owned a Geddy Lee, this is a better neck, good point mate!
