Don't know if you've been in within the last 10 years, but the downstairs has been complely gutted and turned into one vast open space. It used to be my local in the early to mid 80's... Quote
The Burpster Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Hummn theres a pretty good chance we'll have been there at the same time.... used to hang with a bunch of bikers that frequented it as well as The Flying Horse, the Trip, Tiffs (on a Monday 'rock night') and the one on Mansfield Road next to it the name of which escapes me ... The G'nor got converted into a flourescent bar in the 90s and attracted some of the more 'earthy' types that lived off Forest Fields.... My hair and taste in company changed in the mid 80s which probably kept me out of a lot of trouble..... Oh those heady days... Quote
