Tbh, I think you'd be hard pushed to get a metro under 4kg. They tend to be a bit heavier than their USA counterparts.

Agreed. Just a personal observation and I'm not linked to the seller in any way but I've owned a couple of USA Sadowskys and Metro basses and the Metros though NOT boat anchors have all been significantly heavier than the USA basses (certainly over 4kg but not over 5kg).
