Body looks like a Burns? But what the blood-and-stomach-pills is that great lump over/behind the bridge? Looks like one of those clip-on spring reverbs for acoustic guitars! Or maybe a Gizmo (electro-mechanical bowing device)?

Actually the remnants of the original trem. I bought the guitar in this condition in the mid 90s for not a lot of cash. All top quality bits were added on and it is a seriously good guitar. Probably better than an original one but obviously nowhere near as nice

haha sorry I meant I bought the guitar in the mid 90s exactly how it is today not how that white one looks. I essentially saved it from its previous owner.

The Gizmo didn't look anything like that (well the production models didn't - Godley & Cremes original unit looked a bit more like that). They were made from white plastic.
I'll dig my (sadly not functioning) Bass Gizmo out & take a photo of it later if I remember.
