I'm about to buy an EUB, and really think that I need to consider getting a 2 channel amp for gigs where I play both.

There's the EA Micro 550, but are there any other contenders ?

My genz shuttlemax9.2 has two channels (genz amps are popular with upright bassists anyway even the single channel ones) at the moment I can use my eub without touching anything at all and I put the fishman preamp into the fx return for the db :)

Genz isn't something I'd thought of, thanks for that. I was looking at their amps a day or so ago because of the valves, but not something I'd considered for the EUB.

Ed is always the guy to go to for advice on Genz gear, the fact he uses various Genz amps himself speaks volumes to me.

I'd say more likely to be a Shuttle of sorts rather than a Streamliner to get the best DB/EUB tone but I dont know?

instead of buying a new amp have you considered using a switcher between two input sources would be a lot cheaper than buying a new amp if you only need two inputs i had a friend of mine make one up for me with led's to show which channel is active for about £40
