Is this bass still for sale? I've got some gigs coming up and my chosen bass doesn't seem up to the task. Is this definitely US manufactured? I could potentially collect and would want to try it. It's above what I was hoping to pay (I didn't want to pay anything!!) but if it's good I can off-load a couple of unwanted basses.
