Copy and paste below of lozbass's étude as it is a million times better than anything I could write.

If I'm honest I am unlikely to ever get around to doing anything with this bass so offering it back into Basschat land.

Bass is located in Chorley, Lancs. I work in Burnley if that helps anyone at all (certainly doesn't help me at the moment!!)

£25.00 - collection much preferred as not really worth posting., got to be worth that for the parts alone.

Loving it, a blast from my youth circa 1971 onwards. Just a tough decision at the time - Columbus, Avon or Jedson bass. Wonder what they sound like through a modern good bass rig?

Martin, me too - I'm really tempted - if only it was short-scale (...hang on, where's the hacksaw...?) 3Below, I had a chance to test this before I sold it and it was absolutely staggering through my modern tuner

Very true, I'm actually very tempted to keep this masterpiece.
Thing is, it still counts as 1 x unit in Mrs Bagsieblue's (who you had the pleasure of meeting lozbass) 1 in 1 out policy and unfortunately I'm under order to move (at least) one out.

I have one of these in Sunburst and I love it. I paid £50 for mine and that was an excellent price. £25 is even better. I'm very surprised that nobody's bought it yet.

Needs a bit OK of TLC but still a good bass in there....

Has it got those closed back diamond shaped machine heads on it? Sounds odd but Im looking for some of those so if it does I'd go for this. Cheers
