CyberBass
Just seeing if any BC'ers are going next weekend. I'm playing the Sunday night 9.25pm at Olympia2. Would be good to meet and if your playing let me know as I'm making the most of the weekend to see some bands.

CyberBass
Old or new bands there are good and not so good bands irrespective of age!
pst62
True mate! I wasn't judging the credibility of anyone on the bill. Though I bet there's gonna be quite a few new Tinnitus cases come the following Monday.

the_skezz
Was thinking of it but left it a bit late now...great festival and there's always a great selection of CDs and Vinyls on sale, but they get the same acts in too often for me to be bothered more than every few years. Bit gutted I'll be missing Jello Biafra though, he was great in 2011. One of the bands I love, Eastfield, are playing the Friday so catch 'em if you can, great sense of humour to em. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DumjC2EYLgo Good luck with your set and all Edited March 24, 2014 by icastle Link fixed. You're really making me regret not booking time off You're on right after Drongos for Europe, aren't you? They should hopefully get the crowd buzzing before you come on, never seen a bad audience at a Drongos gig.
CyberBass
Yes, drongo's have a good following. Like that Eastfield Youtube video, very catchy track, haven't heard of them but going on the video, will check them out live. I've always preferred old school melodic punk bands, but there are some excellent new school melodic punk bands out there, keeping it alive :-)
the_skezz
Excellent, like I say they've got a great sense of humour (even if they do mostly sing about trains) I'll keep an eye out for your band's shows in future, I've heard you guys mentioned once or twice at punk gigs but never actually seen you live. pst62
Eastfield named after the recently re-opened diesel engine maintenance depot in Glasgow, sound very influenced by Blyth Power.
