Btw, Mike, Silver and Golden Slaps are identical gauges/construction but just different coloured

Thanks for the reply. I was under the impression the the Golden's were a slightly heavier gauge than the Silver's--I am sure I read that somewhere.
If you know why the different colours?

Super Silvers are higher tension (still only medium ish) than Silver Slaps, maybe that what you were thinking of? The difference between Silver and Golden Slaps is purely cosmetic, the Golden ones are more gut looking to me whereas the Silvers are rather translucent white looking.

PS I thought you had some Silver Slaps from me in return for the Danny T strings? Maybevthey are still sat in your spare string drawer?

Hi Clarky. Thanks for the info. The Silver Slaps are on my German DB---I love the sound! I want a set to try on my EUB---I want to keep the one's on the DB. If they do not suit the EUB I will have a spare set for the DB.
