John Cellario Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 This guy, Simon Goulding, a local lad, is a friend of a friend but I don't know him personally....seems like he deserves some recognition. Interesting video with 2 others to go with it if you're interested. Wonder if i could get some lessons? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNkduKBqamk Quote
Thunderthumbs Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 I didn't see it, but he played with the Paul Birchall Trio at the Manchester Jazz Festival. A guy I know did the PA there. In the Bridgewater Hall I think. Very impressive bass player. Quote
Dad3353 Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Impressive..! Nice explanations as to his intentions, and boy, can he deliver..! Thanks for sharing... Quote

Dingus Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 The music isn't really my cup of tea , but this chap is clearly a very , very good player . I would love to hear him in a different context . Quote
John Cellario Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 (edited) Thunderthumbs... Was it Mike Smith doing the PA at The Bridgewater Hall? My wife went along and was seriously impressed. Edited August 3, 2013 by John Cellario Quote
