Right... here we go again. :)

It hurts to sell this... rarer than hen's teeth - I doubt you'll find another sunburst in the UK. Custom shop quality. Info here.

£1200, complete with the factory fitted case, originally supplied bits (including a perspex ramp) and additional custom-made tort pickguard (hand-made by Howard the Bass Doc). It's a lovely light weight (but not a lightweight!).

Will consider trades involving lightweight vintage P's, or other interesting P / P/J things.

This pic shows the only flaw in the bass which I've just noticed - a little bit of the plating is coming off one of the saddles. Purely cosmetic:

Here's a little video what I made...

Local collection (Newcastle-ish) preferred. Shipping considered.

Go on. You know you want to.

Again - really? The universe is trying to tell you something (and me) :D .Lovely basses, really do it all machines and from a passive circuit no less. Anyone who buys this will not be disappointed. The best thing about this thread will be lots of lovely pics and clips. GLWTS but you'll be sorry.

Truth is, I have a three-bass limit.

The RB stands between me and that terrible affliction known as GAS. At the moment, GAS is winning.
Yeah I have a one in, one out rule (so a four bass limit I guess) it's harsh but keeps one honest.

GAS is an extremely cruel mistress, but she must obeyed in order to avoid having an aneurism (at least that's my excuse). What are you gassing for?

I'm quite open, to be honest. I fancy an nice old maple-necked P (I miss my old '72). Maybe.. GASP... something Oly white. Or maybe... GASP... a PJ.

Or, EVEN BIGGER GASP... something not Fender.

I dunno, but that's half the fun, isn't it? :)

You need another Jazz.... possibly one with an active circuit to boost all them lovely mids... natural finish... possibly named after a well-known American jazz-funk-soul sessionman and songwriter... maybe even made in Japan for a change?

Any idea where Mrs. WoT put the kitchen scales?
Mrs. WoT's scales suggest 8.5lbs. I never trust measurements with kitchen or bathroom scales, but that doesn't feel far off. It might even be a smidge less...

Or I have a couple of very nice TKS cabs I could trade? :P
These puppies are so well balanced that you don't notice them, regardless of what their actual mass is.

Both my RB5s weighed roughly 5Kg which is why I sold'em.

Agreed that they balance well, but balance will only get you so far.

Eventually, physics kicks in ...

wot does say it weighs c8.5 pounds which is pretty light in my book

Hello!

That's gorgeous, but too many knobs for a simpleton like me.

Thanks anyway :)
