perrybassbp
Ive just recently started to mess around have started playing my roscoe bass through my Rokit 8 monitors just at low volume to practise and i really like the tone that they are giving me easily beating my ebs classic line 1x12 cabs i have! when playing through my ebs cabs to my ears it seems muffled and i cant find a nice clear crisp tone that i can with the Rokit's. strange question I was wondering are there any cabs out there that may be similar to the Rokit 8's could replace my ebs cabs and to work with my little mark ii head? cheers Perry

discreet
I can't imagine EBS cabs with an LMIII being muffled. How have you got your EQ set up..?
perrybassbp
i tend to leave the eq flat and have the vpf around

perrybassbp
Well I've tried that but I alway tend to put it back on because I don't like the sound with it off
andydye
It pulls the brightness out of your sound, try dropping it out n pulling the low mids up a bit instead?
Lozz196
The VPF increases lows and highs, whilst scooping mids. Whilst it sounds great, try turning it completely off, and then experimenting with the eq to get a similar sound, you should get a much nicer result. I did the same when I first got Markbass amps, got all my sound from the VPF. Nowadays I up bass & treble, cut low-mids and the sound is much chunkier yet more defined. BassBod
Yep...Crazy 8. Small and very clean..your bass only louder (give or take the amp/eq).
