jazz control plate

Hi all. Im trying to get hold of a chrome control plate for a squire vm jazz. Was wondering if theyre a standard size etc ...ie can I just get one of the '.fits fender' ones of e bay?

I think early VM's used a different shape control plate but later ones use standard.

If you look on the 'bay some sellers provide a scale drawing, I would just check it against the VM.

I think the none standard early ones will be harder to get

Heres an ad with a drawing, I think the critical part with the VM is the angle of the part that butts up to the scratchplate, good luck.

Cheers for the heads up. It looks like the joint between the cp and pg is more pointed than on the fenders
