What do you think is the best battery / mains amp out there that is suitable for small venues--ie---small rooms / outside gigs etc. Suitable for EUB / BG and possibly DB? Any that you have been disappointed with?

I've used a little Roland micro cube for busking. It's surprisingly loud for its 8w output. It also seems louder from 15ft away than it does when you're stood right in front of it.
