woodyratm
Hey guys, Decided to go a bit (!) mental yesterday and buy some new stuff. Namely the Iron Ether stuff. I just bought the Polytope, Nimbus, Xerograph and Frantabit (and might get the SubT today). But where would these units normally sound best? I realize this is all subjective, but a little kick in the right direction wouldn't go a miss The rest of my setup is:- TC polytune mini Boss OC3 Boss LS2 Darkglass B7k Iron Ether Oxide MarkBass SuperSynth Was thinking of going something like:- Bass > Tuner > Octave >MarkBass > LS2 > Polytope > Xerograph > Nimbus > Frantabit > Amp LS2 switching between the Fuzz and Dirt. Thoughts? Think I might need a larger board... Trex board for sale anyone?

TG Flatline
Good spending! I'm a fan of the Polytope, very interesting pedal! I can't imagine I'd change the signal chain you've listed, like you say it's all subjective but that is a good place to start!

craigcapener
A nice chain I have always gone with no matter on the company is: Pitch shifting (octaves and other pitch shifters) --> Modulation --> Dirt/Fuzz -- Filters --> Reverb/Delay I find this is a good start point...but you can play forever with different setups.
