Can anyone recommend a decent set up in Glasgow?

Hi all,

As the title says, really. Does anyone know of somewhere to get a decent set up that's not going to charge an arm and a leg? I'm struggling to get a good action on my Jazz and so it's not really getting used, and I feel that there's something untoward going in with the truss rod nut, so that needs looked at. I've tried a few places such as Strung Out and Guitar Guitar and neither of them were that good, and in one instance I think I paid them just to lower the strings and nothing else.

Alternatively are there any BC'ers who fancy a crack at it?

Jimmy Egypt in the west end has a really good reputation. Never used him (do my own setups since I'm tight!), but know some people who have.

Yeah there's Jimmy Egypt in workshop below CC Music in Otago St or there's Jimmy Moon on the Pollokshaws Rd.

Both charge around £60 for a basic setup.

I started doing mine myself after never really being happy with the results from a workshop.
