Squaya jazz fretless rebuild

Mixture of a MIJ Maya bass and a Squier (Maya + Squier = Squaya. Get it?). Traded for all the parts so I'm working on the routing and assembling over the next month or two.

Here's what I've got so far:

And here's a photoshop mockup of the custom scratchplate I'll order:

I'm going to put a p-bass pickup in the bridge rout (when I can afford one haha) covered by an ebony cover that I'll make later. Going to be simple volume and tone controls (which I also need to acquire) so I'll make a new control plate too. The neck's one-piece maple with ebonol fingerboard and skunk stripe. The body's two-piece ash. Hi-mass bridge (Think it might be a Fender or eBay shop jobbie?), custom scratchplate with no neck-pickup. Don't know what the tuners are but they seem to work very, very well. Thanks to Andy for all the parts I needed to get it fixed! I've been waiting on this project for over 2 years, and I've never had a 'good' bass before so I'm looking forward to seeing it finished!

Thanks and I'll keep you updated,
Joe

Pickup rout and neck pocket carved with chisels (no routers here!). Now I've just got to finish the pickup cover, if only it wasn't so bloomin' difficult to make in a 6ft shed!!!
