Made in Germany in 1990, Bubinga/Wengé neck, Bubinga body wings, brass Just-a-nut I, EMGs (original crappy MEC included, don't know if they works). The new set has been installed years ago but is in very good conditions, no strings wear and the logo is still there.[/color] [color=#000000]The bass sounds good, the setup is ok, strings are still good. The neck is thin and action is low, to be fair it plays well, definitely one of the good ones (I've owned a few of these axes before started building). The guy bought it about 10 years ago, used, in a store. Should be the second or third owner.[/color] [color=#000000]You can barely see the joints between wigns and neck, I guess it's due to the lack of maintenance of the oil finish in the first years of life of the instrument, the wood of the wings shrinked a bit and you can see the lines if you look for them (I'm being picky - see picture). [/color] [color=#000000]Globally it's in pretty good shape, expecially for a 23 years old instrument. Usual player wear around the pickups but the neck is fast, frets are ok (original), already has good pickups on. I've played one a few days ago and was in worse conditions and sold for a higher price. [/color] [color=#000000]Will be shipped in a non-original gig bag. As far as I can tell, the only non-original parts on it are one strap button and the output jack, the original MEC pickups will be tested by me as soon as I have 5 spare minutes.
