witterth
This video starts out as one of those "oh here we go again!" jobs about a kid playing bass, but really, stick with it. Dahm! phil.i.stein
sorry to burst the bubble, but this one's been around for a while. in fact, now, he's probably even older than me, (joke). but you're right, he is pretty amazing. someone suggested that he was older than that at the time, (genetic thing), but whether there was any truth in that, who knows .. dave_bass5
Yes, it was uploaded almost 3 years ago. i bet he is really good by now Cant stand the first bit though. I cant understand why bass players feel the need to do that, other than to impress non bass players. He definitely has a talent though. uncle psychosis
Impressive chops. I wish I'd picked up bass younger (I played wind instruments at school and picked up the bass as an adult). Children are hard wired for learning, lucky little buggers

However, the music on the clip seems to be more about technique/chops with little in the way of relating to an audience. I could not relate to it. YMMV. witterth
and they call you "Happy" Jack ? is it all about kak handed "clash bass" stylee in your world then? naa that sounds rude of me,and not what I mean, but celebrate a great player. even if you don't like Jaco. you'll be in a room of nine (yes I know,.... and counting.....) please don't think I'm being a git even if I am. phil.i.stein
it's not my bag (taste-wise) musically, but i cannot fail to be impressed by the talent. especially considering the age. and i doubt that many others would disagree.
