much like cars, yellow is one of those colours which is uncommon, and some would say 'brash'

i suppose it makes a statement of sorts, just not sure what that statement is.

Not a bass nor mine, but one of my old teachers at high school had an 80's Monaco Yellow Telecaster that i thought looked absolutelly brilliant, and sounded just as good too.

bright yellow not a good move if you do outdoor gigs you will become a fly and insect magnet!!

I don't but I wish I did, Fender had a finish back in the 80's called Graffiti Yellow and I love it.
