Band Lights - ADJ Profile Panel

Anyone using or have tried American DJ LED Profile panel LED lights. I need to get something a bit better than the crappy maplin 'lightbulbs in a fuzzy box' I currently have.

Thinking of a pair of these, either on the floor or mounted on stands would do the job - £160ish for the pair, compact & lightweight - should be easy to get a case/box to store/carry them in.

Has anyone here used these or able to offer some opinion?

Or is there anything fairly inexpensive (under £200) and easy to store/transport that might be better suited for pub gigs?

Had a pair, but there was something wrong with mine and the interfered terribly with out of the guitarists gear, so I gave up and sold them. Other than that they seemed OK

The trouble with most of the demo vids for all of these is that there is almost always nothing to give any idea of scale & coverage.

I now have a single LED 4 Par bar type affair, which is OK but I/we really need another for a better spread/wash & I'm not about to shell out for another set on my own

I had two of the LEDJ version in my singing days. They are ok but not as bright as you may expect. They act better as a wash, ie lighting up walls or equipment rather than used as spotlights. I think you may need 4 of them to get the brightness you need.

I've got 4 LED PAR64 and 2 T-bar stands. Two par cans either side of the band. Does the trick ok.
