Are basses selling better on eBay rather than here because......

I think I had more "tire-kickers" and "lowballers" the one time I listed a bass here than all my eBay listings combined...

Sold a bit a gear lately on Gumtree and the free ad pages on Facebook. Got decent prices and because they're usually local it's quite easy to arrange pick up or delivery in person.

I don't think my gear would have sold on here...

I'm sure folk will tell me if I'm wrong, but the impression I get is budget gear does better on Ebay than on BC. The few times I've advertised a cheap bass on BC I've hardly had any body looking. I think BC's better for the serious gear.

They're everywhere unfortunately.

I tried to sell some furniture on gumtree and five different people agreed to buy it and then just didn't turn up at the allotted time. Gits.
