The bass is in very good condition, it has very slight buckle rash on the back, but it`s that slight I couldn`t get it to appear on any photos taken. Twin humbucking pickups Separate volume and tone controls for each pickup 34" scale Nut width 42mm I`ve not got scales, but it`s roughly 8.5/9lbs - same as my US Precision The Standard was discontinued, with the Special taking its place. Finding any information about them therefore is sketchy, but from what I`ve read, I believe the body is made of alder, maple neck, with a rosewood fretboard. Plays very well, neck is less chunky than a Precision, but bigger than a Jazz for reference. The two pickups produce a wide array of sounds, neck = a deeper Precision type tone, both together = that well known Thunderbird type tone/Jazz type tone, and the bridge pickup is more than a little Flea-like. £250.
