My new bass is a new Biarnel Luthery bass: Stige

Hi there! I'm coming back writing on these pages (I read but I rarely write something due to my rough english...) 'cause of making of my new bass, a new "Stige" model, by Biarnel Luthery, that is Emiliano Nencioni, a young italian luthier whose basses you've already seen on this web site.
" :-).
I wanted a more stronger sound and "evil" look, a "dark side" model for my group's live set (Demetra Sine Die: have you listened to the new album "A quiet land of fear" ? ). The last one was a very dark live set, because we played in almost complete obscurity to let see projections on the wall behind us. So I asked to Emiliano to have Luminlay dots to glow in the dark in this new bass.
Woods: alder body with maple top&back, bolt-on 5 pieces neck maple-wengé-padouk-wengé-maple, ebony fingerboard. One humbucker alnico low impedence pick-up (made by Emiliano), active 3 bands electronics. Shape has been designed to have a good look, with low weight - only 3380 grams - and a very good ergonomy, with special attention to stand-up picking playing (but you can also play sitting anyway, of course).
Sound is big, with good low-mid and a great attack, that's what I like, especially live where I have to be heared well with any amp and cabs I find on the stage. But sound is dinamic too, rich in all frequencies, so you can modify it with on board or amp eq. And what about color? Purpleburst with transparent black neck, really cool! :D
In the end, a very good bass, I like it a lot, it is really the one I wanted. Thanks Emiliano! You can find photo album here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151730403068750.1073741830.20100608749&type=1

Very nice. Love the colour.

I'll second that, it's a lovely colour.

The shape is rather nice too... The top horn reminds me of an Ibanez BTB, the bottom horn reminds me of Brian Bromberg's Carvin and the right side reminds me of my Dingwall!
