Pow_22
On my quest to find the ideal flatwound for my Epiphone rivoli i have got these two sets to offer:- 1) Picato Flat Wound 45-105. These werent on long. I use these on my P bass but a little to dark for a single humbucker bass (unoless you like dark of course). 2 hours play 2) D'Addario Halfrounds - 40-100 (i think). These were the closest i got to 'perfect'. Initially bright they soon settled down to a nice smooth thump whilst retaining a little bite. Only thing i didnt like was the small gauge. 10 hours play - Still have box Both cut for a 2+2 headstock. £12.50 each includes postage to UK

P-T-P
Is there enough taper on these to fit a Gotoh type tuner? The anchor point on the tuners for my Rumblekat is narrow so wouldn't take the full thickness of an E string, for example.
Pow_22
i had the taper wraped round my Epi's elephant ear tuners twice so i wouldve thought so
P-T-P
It's more the size of the hole on the Gotoh type tuners, but as long as there's still taper on the strings, should be fine. Only ask as I trimmed a set of long scale sctings only to find the E was too fat to go in the hole!
