thebassist Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I'm just saying I don't believe Fender offered a natural finish Jazz Bass in 1972 did they? So, as a customer, why would someone pay all original money for a non-original instrument?
dafonky Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 Hi folks, this 72 Jazz Bass is 100 % original...... Otherwise I would have mentioned if it was stripped Sure, Fender was offered natural basses during the whole production from 1950' ies until today !!
dafonky Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 have a look at the matching numbers of the pickups, this is unique !

thebassist Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I stand corrected. Apologies and best of good luck with the sale mate.
Raslee Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I have a 74, same as yours but with a maple neck...amazing sounding basses - I've owned several jazzes in the past yet nothing comes close to the sound of these...cured my GAS for life (i hope)...have a bump for a great bass
dafonky Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 Thanks man ! Gas sometimes disappears and then comes back suddenly
keeptrying Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 A bass as old as me but in much better condition than I am, good luck, wish I was a rich man.
