I love my SH P. Even though I've swapped it to round wounds it still has the thump it did with flats.

Blue plus a mirror pickguard? Really, a mirror pickguard? That's like having an ash trash on a motorcycle! I can imagine the talks at Fender while designing it:

"Hey guys, lets use the least scratch-proof material possible for the pickguard!"

i tried one of these a while ago, i really wanted to like it but it just wasnt for me (im a massive steve harris fan too)
it was awfull, everything seemed wrong, the neck profile, weight, balance, setup even the strings felt just plain wrong.
oh well there go my aspirations of bieng a steve harris impersanator.

never been a pbass fan either(or any fender bass for that matter), i was hoping this might be a little different.
if anything the neck felt a little chunkier than the last p i tried although i dont remember the exact model of that one either.

Edit: I do like the blue and maple combo, though.
Not too sure about the mirror pickguard. I saw Thin Lizzy back in the day and PL's mirror pg blinded half the audience.
The other half were too pissed to see anything at all.
